Massachusetts’ total gaming revenue declined by seven per cent in February to US$153.1m, down from January’s $164.7m.


Sports betting both online and in retail sportsbooks generated $52.3m in revenue – a 26.1 per cent decline month-on-month, with online wagering bringing in $51.8m of that total.

However, there was a 7.5 per cent increase in land-based casino revenue to $100.6m, up from $93.5m in January.

Encore Boston Harbor was the best-performing casino with $64.4m in revenue.

Massachusetts brought in $38.8m in gaming taxes in February, the figure declining 3.9 per cent from January.
