The number of people employed in Germany by the Gauselmann Group has risen by 13.4 per cent in 2021.


Despite the pandemic, the gaming machine developer and operator had an overall 14,492 staff members and its total number of employees rose 10.7 per cent.

The number in Germany rose from 6,825 to 7,740 and the company has increased awareness of its employer possibilities by joining the Career in a Family Business initiative in Germany.

In order to encourage potential candidates the group relies even more on the family business factor. That had led to it joining the initiative, which is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.

Participation in the 25th Family Business Career Day, which took place recently at Goldbeck GmbH in Bielefeld, was also linked to the initiative. There, the Gauselmann Group personnel officers responsible held numerous discussions with potential applicants.

“As a family-run but internationally oriented group of companies, which is now the largest private employer in the Minden-Lübbecke district, we have a lot to offer in these areas,” said Giannopoulos.
