Red Rock Resorts has sold 56.6 acres on the Las Vegas Strip to HCA Healthcare for $62.3m, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

This is the latest move for Red Rock as it optimises its portfolio in Nevada. Last month it bought 67 acres for $55m in North Las Vegas for a 600-room casino hotel and 3.76 acres in Henderson for $1.75m.

The company also sold 21.3 acres in south-west Las Vegas to real estate developer Ovation Development for $23.9m. Last year, Red Rock announced it would demolish Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station and sell the land. The casinos had been closed since the start of the pandemic.

Elsewhere, Rouge Room cocktail lounge will open at Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas this spring. The high end lounge will offer caviar and seafood towers along with special martinis. Live entertainment will also be offered in the 5,500sq.ft venue.
