

The New Jersey Division of Gaming enforcement has announced that in July, the state saw $506.2m in total gaming revenue, a 5.3 per cent increase on the $480.7m total reported from July 2022.
This puts the year-to date figure at $3.23bn, an 11 per cent increase on the $2.91bn reported in the prior period.
Breaking down the revenue figures, $290m of the revenue for the month came from the state’s nine casino hotel properties, a 3 per cent decrease against the $299m figure from July 2022.
The revenue from internet gaming, however, was 13.5 per cent up against the previous year from $136.7m to $155.2m.
Finally, there was the $61m revenue from sports wagering reported by casinos, racetracks and their partners – a 35.6 per cent increase from the previous year’s $45m.
