

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has announced a 1.2 per cent decrease in profits in Q2 2023 against the same quarter in 2022.
Net revenue stood at US$819m. A gross operating profit was reported at $146m, a 20.5 per cent decrease against the previous year.
The hotel occupancy rate in the industry’s casino hotels for the quarter was 74.4 per cent, a decrease of three percentage points against 2022.
Over the six-month period ending June 30, 2023, net revenue was $1.6bn, a 1.5 per cent increase from 2022, and the occupancy rate was 69.8 per cent, a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the previous year.
