Detroit’s casinos reported $101.8m in monthly aggregate revenue in November, although there was a decline in slot revenue.
Table games and slots generated $99.9m in revenue, a 3.8 per cent decline year-on-year. Revenue also fell 0.8 per cent compared with the Michigan city’s October postings.
MGM held 47 per cent of the market share in November, with MotorCity at 30 per cent and Hollywood Casino at Greektown 23 per cent, respectively.
The three casinos’ table games and slots gaming revenue for the first 11 months of the year declined 0.6 per cent compared with the same period last year.
Hollywood Casino at Greektown’s monthly gaming revenue rose 2.9 per cent to $23.2, but the same statistic for MGM – down 3.3 per cent to $46.7m – and MotorCity Casino – down 9.1 per cent to $30m – fell on both counts.
November retail sports betting dropped 57 per cent year-on-year and fell 11.1 per cent from October. Total handle was $18,136,969.
