The three casinos of Detroit, Michigan, brought in an aggregate gaming revenue of $104.63m for the month of February.
$104.76 of revenue was generated from table games and slots, down 0.2 per cent against February 2023, but 11.6 per cent up on January 2024. The three casinos paid $8.49m in gaming taxes to the state, as well as $12.5m in wageeing taxes and development agreement payments to the city.
$124,853 of revenue was from retail sports betting, with a total retail sports betting handle of $13.2m and total gross receipts of negative ($120,142). The casinos paid $4,901 in gaming taxes to the state and submitted $5,991 in wagering taxes to the city based on retail sports betting revenue.
The market shares were 47 per cent for MGM, 30 per cent for MotorCity and 23 per cent for Hollywood Casino at Greektown.
