Detroit’s overall casino revenue for 2023 dropped 3.1 per cent year-on-year to US$1.2bn.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board said slots accounted for the most revenue at $984.1m (80 per cent.)
Table games and retail sports betting followed with revenue of $238.7m (19 per cent) and $14m (one per cent), respectively.
MGM enjoyed the biggest share of revenues across the three properties (46 per cent), with MotorCity (31 per cent) and Hollywood Casino at Greektown (23 per cent) following behind.
The 2023 casino revenue picture in Detroit comes as the three state capital properties reported combined December revenue of $116.2m, of which $114.4m was generated from table games and slots and $4.8m was generated from retail sports betting.
