Ukraine takes another step towards legalised gambling

The process of legalising the betting and gambling business in Ukraine has moved a stage further.

The Ukrainian government has completed the second round of the competitive selection process to appoint four new members of the Ukrainian Gambling and Lottery Commission.

The list of candidates shows people from the fields of national security, international relations, law, economics and IT. A special test now has to be successfully negotiated by the candidates. The first task for the commission will be to set out the licensing conditions, drafts of which are already in the public domain.
