Opening date for the Londoner in Macau

Las Vegas Sands has set January 22 as the opening date of its Londoner Hotel in Macau and an official opening of the $2.2bn venue will be held in early February in time for the Chinese New Year.

The project, in which LVS transforms Sands Cotai Central into what it expects to be a major attraction, is expected to help in the recovery of Macau.

The Londoner will include capacity for up to 450 table games, 2,000 slots, more than 6,000 hotel rooms and a 6,000-seat arena.

Elsewhere, the Sheraton Grand Hotel at the Londoner will house visitors undergoing mandatory 14-day quarantines to Macau, Inside Asian Gaming reported.
