Nagasaki Prefecture aiming for 2027 casino resort opening date

In Japan and Nagasaki Prefecture has reportedly detailed that it is aiming to begin building its proposed integrated casino resort sometime next year in hopes of being able to open the Las Vegas-style facility by the end of 2027.

According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming, this information came from an unnamed local government official and was followed by an assertion that the jurisdiction’s prospects for procuring the required $3.8 billion in associated development cash remain ‘strong’.

Nagasaki Prefecture is home to a little over 1.3 million people and it earlier reportedly unveiled a plan that is to see it bring a large gambling-friendly venue to a 135-acre seaside plot of land located next to the Huis Ten Bosch theme park.
