With many US states now beginning to reopen their casinos, Nevada governor Steve Sisolak has released details of how businesses in the state can follow suit.



Two major Strip operators are now preparing to reopen, Wynn and MGM, the former by Memorial Day, May 25. Sisolak has given the Nevada Gaming Board the power to decide when the casinos may reopen, says Fantini’s Gaming Report.

When they do, Sisolak wants blackjack tables limited to two guests at a time, craps to six and roulette and poker to four. There would be a limit to 50 per cent of a venue’s guest capacity at any one time and there would social distancing employed.

Sisolak had previously announced that the first phase of reopening would be on May 15, but casinos are not included.
