Light & Wonder innovations on G2E floor

Several innovations were to be found on the giant booth of Light & Wonder this week as the G2E show opened in Las Vegas.

The multi-channel developer of gambling devices unveiled Cosmic, the new slot cabinet and The Card Recycler, a sustainable solution for operators. It also showed Live Dealer by Authentic Gaming, a live casino experience, as well as enhancements to its suite of systems.

The company said it had recognised the shift in player behaviour to immersive and connected offerings and had reacted accordingly. It was focusing on games that players want to play across multiple platforms, land-based casinos, online and mobile, in both real-money and free-to-play social markets.

Cosmic has a 27ins top monitor that flows into the player panel with the brightest bash buttons ever used by the company. Live Dealer by Authentic, is a new electronic table game using a bespoke studio environment to provide a wide selection of shared live tables. And WAP jackpots coming into the US market are reflected by several new games for land-based venues launched.

Light & Wonder is also bringing its ETG game Roulettex to a standard roulette table. Roulettex allows player to choose their own level of volatility and a chance to win up to 500 times the value of their wager on a single number.
