The famous Kentucky Downs racecourse in the US has adopted JCM Global’s iVizion bill validator.
The unit will go into 450 games in The Mint gaming hall at the venue, together with the ICB (Intelligent Cash Box) system. JCM will also install the GEN5 thermal printer in the new casino area that houses 600 games and which opened in September.
The iVizion is widely used in the industry and its Contact Image Sensor technology reads more than 9.5m data points on each currency bill.
