Independent approval has been granted by the Bank of England for Innovative Technology’s NV200 Spectral note validator.
It comes after the bank’s recent testing of automatic banknote handling machines, through which both circulation and artificial counterfeit banknotes can be differentiated.
The Gold Standard approval is the highest level that can be achieved and comes only after the most strict testing processes.
