The sale of Golden Entertainment Group’s Montana distributed gaming operations to J&J Ventures Gaming has completed.
J&J Gaming acquired the assets for aggregate cash consideration of approximately $109m, plus purchased cash of $5m.
The planned sale was announced in March with J&J Gaming set to purchase Golden’s Nevada gaming operations as well. This latter deal has yet to complete.
“We believe this transaction will provide further success for our route partners through sharing of best practices and new technology,” said Blake Sartini, chairman and chief executive of Golden Entertainment Group back in March.
Latham & Watkins are acting as legal counsel to Golden.
