The new Gaming Control Commission in Florida is under pressure from the legitimate operators to crack down on “grey” slots.

Marc Dunbar, a gambling industry lobbyist, asked the commission this week to make contact with the local elected officials and the police to clamp down on illegal machines, says CDC Gaming Reports.

Meanwhile, the new commission is still embroiled in its set-up mode, hiring staff and exploring its control areas.

Dunbar directed the commission’s attention to the proposal in Jacksonville to legalise “grey” slots.
