Recently, FanDuel, a leading online gambling firm based in New York, revealed its latest multi-year alliance with North Carolina-based professional football team, the Carolina Panthers. According to the partnership agreement, FanDuel will become an official sports wagering partner of the National Football League (NFL) team.

New alliance:

This new alliance comes prior to the official debut of mobile sports wagering in North Carolina, which is set for March 11. Additionally, it represents a part of a range of initiatives to attract sports enthusiasts across the state.

Under the terms of the agreement, FanDuel will utilize the team’s marks through its marketing channels and enter into an alliance with the Carolina Panthers on social media and digital content. Also, to satisfy sports enthusiasts, exclusive events and digital signage will be held at Bank of America Stadium.

Relatedly, to officially celebrate this latest alliance, a live broadcast of FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams will take place from Bank of America Stadium and is scheduled for March 6th. Among the guests will be members of the Panthers organization and Luke Kuechly. As for fans, they may tune into said live broadcast during weekdays at 11:00 a.m. ET on YouTube, FanDuel TV+ and FanDuel TV.

Commenting on the alliance, Chief Commercial Officer at FanDuel, Mike Raffensperger, commented: “Bringing FanDuel to sports fans across North Carolina is an important moment for our business, and we are thrilled to be able to work with the Carolina Panthers to introduce their fanbase to America’s #1 Sportsbook. Just ahead of the mobile sports wagering debut in the state, Fanduel Sportsbook has an amazing offer for its customers!

Sports enthusiasts in the state who are 21 or older may now officially pre-register on the sportsbook app. Fresh clients who pre-register between today, March 5, and March 10 will be awarded with $100 in Bonus Wagers to redeem after the aforementioned March 11 debut of mobile sports wagering. Starting at 12 PM ET on the specified date, clients who place their 1st bet of a minimum $5 will get an extra $200 in Bonus Wagers, which may then be utilized to wager on soccer, golf, basketball, boxing, NHL, MLB, etc.

Once the launch happens, North Carolina will become the 22nd state for Fanduel to offer mobile sports wagering. However, mobile sports wagering hasn’t yet been legalized in South Carolina.
