With only eight weeks to go before the world’s largest gaming trade show gets under way at London’s ExCeL, some exhibitors are expressing concerns over the potential threats from the latest Covid-19 impact.
Some stand builders are awaiting the word to go ahead with ordering materials to build the spectacular displays that dominate ICE, while others have actually started the work. However, some exhibitors are growing increasingly worried that the show might be postponed.
Clarion Gaming’s managing director Stuart Hunter (pictured) was quick to respond: “We have had conversations with a large cohort of exhibitors already,” he told InterGame. “They are also concerned about the tests that they will have to undergo once in the UK.
“The exhibitors all have different concerns. They all also have my mobile phone number, so any of them can talk directly to me if they want reassurances.”
