After breaking ground on its third gaming facility on November 4, 2019, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians now looks to fill 500-plus new positions within the next few months.

Expected to open fall 2020, the new Agua Caliente Casino, located at the corner of Date Palm Dr and Hwy 111 in Cathedral City, California, will begin its hiring process with a job fair to be hosted at the Mary Pickford Theater in the desert resort city on Monday, July 27, from 8am to 1pm, according to the company’s website.

Employment opportunities include full, part-time, and on-call positions in food and beverage, slots, table games, security and valet, among others.

As mentioned, the federally recognized tribe broke ground on what will be its third casino, behind its two existing gaming properties in southern California; the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs and the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, in November last year, which construction has for the past several months been ongoing, including during the coronavirus pandemic.
