According to figures from The American Gaming Association, total annual gaming revenue for 2023 has hit record levels for the third consecutive year.
Revenue from land-based casino games, sports betting and igaming combined hit $66.52bn, which is a boost of 10 per cent over 2022, which was itself an annual record.
The total from tribal gaming revenue will be reported later in the year by the National Indian Gaming Commission. With that figure included, it is expected that the total figure for the US will approach £110bn.
