In a deal that significantly improves its footprint in the Romanian market, iGaming supplier and aggregator Relax Gaming has signed a B2C agreement with established local online sports betting operator, FavBet Online.

Under the new commercial agreement, FavBet’s players will be able to choose from specially selected content from Silver Bullet and Powered by Relax partners, alongside popular titles from tier-one studios such as 4theplayer, Kalamba Games, and Australian games developer, ReelPlay.

Furthermore, the operator will also have at its disposal premium content from Relax Gaming’s diverse offering of proprietary titles, including player favorites Templar Tumble, Top Dawg$, and the recently released, Money Cart 2 Bonus Reels.

Obvious choice:

Explaining that their vision is to become “the best form of entertainment” so their clients, employees, and partners are “part of a unique experience,” Sergiu Burbulea, FavBet Romania Chief Executive Officer said…

“We work to an incredibly high standard at FavBet, so naturally we wanted a partner with a similar work ethic. As a result, Relax Gaming was an obvious choice. We are more than confident that they will live up to their reputation and deliver on this.”

Established in 1999, FavBet has largely operated across major European markets. In the more than twenty-year span, the business has managed to significantly grow its sportsbook offering so that in addition to live betting, it now includes a multitude of options, including online slots, live casino, lottery and virtuals.

Improving footprint:

Daniel Eskola, Chief Commercial Officer for Relax Gaming also commented on the new commercial agreement, lauding FavBet as “the ideal partner” for them and their studios due to the Romain operator’s focus on technology and high-quality content.

“The brand is very highly regarded in Romania, so it’s great to sign a deal that will improve our footprint so significantly in the country. We look forward to supporting their next chapter of development.”

The B2C deal continues Relax’s Romania effort and is further confirmation that Relax’s content is “being very well-received” by players in Romania as well as casinos.

Just prior to the latest deal, the B2B multi-product provider significantly expanded its footprint in Denmark‘s iGaming space after partnered with Danske Spil A/S brand, Tivoli. The Danish iGaming operator and amusement park company was established in 2012 and has since become highly regarded while the collaboration will see the operator benefit from Relax’s full-service platform and games catalog.

The deal also follows the Malta-based firm’s win at the EGR Nordics 2021 awards for Casino Content Supplier. Add to that, a series of commercial deals, including Spadegaming, Leap Gaming, and Big Time Gaming to name a few, and the opening of a new office in Stockholm, which complements its already established Belgrade and Malmö studios and signals its long-term plans for the key Nordics region. Relax has also been nominated in four categories at the International Gaming Awards, to be held later this summer in London.
