Building on a partnership established in June 2020, UK game developer Reflex Gaming has further enhanced its alignment with YG Masters after signing an agreement that will see it leverage Yggdrasil‘s Gigablox mechanic for future game development.

Introduced in 2020, all three of Yggdrasil’s proprietary mechanics have met with success in several titles in its award-winning games portfolio.

“We are really impressed with what Yggdrasil has done on their games using these mechanics.”

Triple threat:

The Gigablox mechanic featured in Lucky Neko and Hades, where it’s is all about giant symbols landing on the reels and leading to huge wins when stacked, and also enables the innovative GigaBlox battles. The Splitz advance splits mystery symbols on the reels allowing “more ways, extra scatters, longer lines, or bigger clusters,” and was incorporated into Syncronite, Neon Rush and the futuristic title, Temple Stacks. Lastly, MultiMax debuted in Multifly, which enjoyed an extremely successful pre-launched in March last year and sees the accumulation of multipliers on the reels for cascading wins.

In December 2020, the Cherry AB subsidiary extended its content partnership program to offer its studio partners access to all three of its popular mechanical advancements. Reflex Gaming joins established YG Masters partners, DreamTech Gaming, which became the program’s sixth studio partner in April 2019, and London-based game design and development house, Bang Bang Games, which joined last year, and have already signed up for the new proposition.

Feature benefits:

Chief Product Officer for Reflex Gaming, Mat Ingram, had the following to say regarding the significance of the addition…

“Through the YG Masters program, we have been able to streamline the development process, allowing us to focus on the game design and enabling us to launch exciting titles to a new audience. We have a full game launch schedule for 2021, with some epic releases coming.

“We are really impressed with what Yggdrasil has done on their games using these mechanics. Our game design team already has ideas on how to deploy these clever slot mechanics on our own upcoming games.”

YG Masters:

The framework offering enables YG Masters program partner studios to create and distribute gaming content utilizing its advanced GATI technology, a “preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit.”

As mentioned, Reflex Gaming joined the partnership program in June 2020, with the British manufacturer and game developer’s first game, Moley Moolah, which was launched via the initiative in November last year.

Global appeal:

Also commenting on the deal, Head of Partner Programs for Yggdrasil Gaming, Stuart McCarthy, used a company press release to say…

“By offering our proven mechanics to our YG Masters partners they can launch new games knowing they will appeal to global players. YG Masters help our partners rapidly develop content for distribution to our vast operator network, while within our framework offering, studios can elevate their portfolios even further.

“Our partnership with Reflex Gaming is going from strength-to-strength and we are excited to see the upcoming titles they will deliver with the Gigablox™ mechanic to further fuel their success.”

New and upcoming:

The partnership enhancement comes on the heels of the launch of Giza Infinity Reels from Australian developer ReelPlay. The new video slot follows last year’s release, Atlantis Megaways, the second game courtesy of the alignment with the YG Masters program.

Fans can look forward to the release of Labyrinth of Knossos Multijump on February 11. The Mythical-themed video slot was developed by another YG Masters partner studio, Dreamtech Gaming.
