A new Merkur Slots location has opened in Brighton, on England’s south coast, this week.
The venue is part of a nationwide programme that will see the company invest over £10m into new venues in British high streets this year, reports the local Brighton newspaper, The Argus.
Mark Schertle, COO at Merkur Casino UK, said: “We pride ourselves on our continued investment in UK high streets and so it means a lot to be able to support the local community and economy in Brighton through the creation of 10 new jobs.”
Schertle noted that every new venue opened creates an average of 10 new positions and the company has created 400 in 2021. It now plans to create 600 more new jobs in 2022.
