The Canadian province of Alberta has reversed its ban on betting on the Ultimate Fighting Championship events.

The province’s Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission has taken the decision after an investigation into coach James Krause in Nevada.

Krause, his managers and fighters were investigated by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, having suspended Krause’s licence to take part in UFC contests temporarily. This was set off by suspicious betting on a fight in November. The investigation is continuing.
