The major issue of a smoking ban in Atlantic City casinos will be resurrected before April 15, according to NJ Online Gambling.

The newsfeed said that CEASE (Casino Employees Against Smoking’s Effects) has appeared on YouTube demanding action by New Jersey state legislators to ban smoking in Atlantic City’s casinos.

Two Borgata dealers have led the campaign that has rumbled on for years, and they have asked the legislature to pass a bill by April 15 so that all forms of smoking side the city’s nine casinos will be banned.

Proposals have constantly been set back by loopholes in the law, 17 years after the Clean Indoor Air Act was passed in the state.

The campaign’s bill has been supported by 72 out of the 120 members of the state legislature.
