Betfred, the UK bookmaker, will operate the sports book at the Mohegan Sun Casino at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas when the new venue opens later in the year.
The native Indian-owned casino will use Betfred’s US subsidiary, Betfred USA Sports to operate the sportsbook.
Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment is the casino division of the tribe, based in Connecticut and the Virgin Hotel was formerly the Hard Rock. It is currently in the course of renovation work.
The off-Strip Hard Rock was purchased by the British businessman Richard Branson in partnership with Bosworth Hospitality, Juniper Capital Partners and Fengate Asset Management, in March of 2018. The rebuilding work is estimated at around $200m.
