AGCO appoints Dave Forestell as chair

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has appointed Dave Forestall to its board of directors as chair.

Forestall was first appointed to the board in 2018 and has been a sitting member since, advocating for the agency in relevant sectors.

He has also served in the role of chair for the board of igaming Ontario, a subsidiary of the AGCO, since its inception in July 2021, though he is now stepping down to concentrate on his new role.

Other positions he has held include vice president, external relations (Canada) for TC Energy, vice president, international corporate and commercial banking, and vice president, office of the president and CEO at Scotiabank. He is fluent in Spanish and has worked in both Chile and Venezuela.
