Knuth Achilles has been appointed the new general manager of Germany’s Merkur Spielbanken Sachsen-Anhalt, succeeding Marcus Leo Brandenburg who has moved to the sister company, Merkur Casino.
Achilles is now responsible for the three casino locations in Leuna-Günthersdorf, Magdeburg and Halle on behalf of the parent company, the Gauselmann Group.
All are familiar to Achilles from his previous responsibility, which was to ensure player protection for the casinos. He was previously in various positions at the Bad Oeynhausen casino.
