Zitro installs solar panels on factory

Spanish video slots manufacturer Zitro has installed 264 solar panels covering an area of 528sq.m on its Barcelona factory.

The move emphasises Zitro’s commitment to the environment and renewable energies to help reduce the impact of its carbon footprint and also provide its offices with 100 per cent renewable energy.

The factory is on the Technology Campus in Barcelona and the panels will produce around 120kw and at the same time reduce 82,509kg of CO2 annually.

Zitro has also managed to reduce 80 per cent of its greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption in software.
