Australian casino operator The Star Entertainment Group and Konami Gaming have extended and expanded their casino systems partnership.

Konami have provided The Star with its Synkros casino management system since 2008, but the new deal encompasses new technological solutions to further elevate the experience for The Star patrons.

These include: the introduction of a seamless cashless wagering system, mandatory card-based play, and enhanced identity management using SYNK Vision AI facial recognition technology.

The companies also explained that the new deal will “entail a deeper engagement with regulatory requirements”.
