Gaming companies with Swedish licences had a total turnover of SEK24.8bn in 2019.

During the fourth quarter, SEK6.7bn was traded. The figures are preliminary and are largely based on information from the Swedish Tax Agency on tax decided.

Ninety-six companies have active licences in the Swedish market, with licences for non-profit purposes not included. Seventy of these companies were licensed for betting and/or commercial games online.

There is no information on how much is played at gaming companies without a Swedish licence. The British analysis company H2 Gambling Capital estimates that during the fourth quarter of 2019, this figure was between SEK580m and SEK690m. The estimated figure for the full year 2019 is SEK1.8bn to SEK2.2bn.
