SG and SISAL work on Moroccan lottery

A variety of lottery products will be provided by Scientific Games to SISAL in Morocco, starting this month.

SG has orders for lottery instant games, e-instant digital games and Wave Lottery terminals to the rapidly developing African lottery market.

SISAL is one of Italy’s largest gaming operators, with significant holdings in the lottery, betting, AWP machines, video lottery and digital gaming sectors.

SG supported SISAL in its preparation for the Moroccan national lottery bid of Societe de Gestion de la Loterie Nationale and was awarded the 10-year concession to operate the lottery that was launched in January 2019.

SISAL’s managing director of lottery and international business, Marco Caccavale, said: “Recently we have enjoyed significant market successes with the award of the concession to operate parimutel games in Italy and winning the bid to operate the national lottery in Turkey with our partner there.

“The extent of the collaboration we have with SG in Morocco, Italy and Turkey is clear evidence of the strength of our strategic partnership.”
