Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic, will host the Seventh Ibero-American Gaming Summit, to be held on April 28-29 at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel and Casino.

The decision to hold the show in Santo Domingo was made to further expand its borders in to more countries within the Latin America region.

The organisers also cite the “political-social stability of [the] Dominican Republic and the dynamism of its economy” as reasons for the move, as well as the country’s continued expansion into the world of gambling with the application of the Ley contra el Lavado de Activos and its fight against illegal gambling.
