Large amount of hotel rooms within Macau casino resorts have all their rooms, which were available on the open market, booked for nearly all nights of the approaching autumn national holiday Golden Week, in compliance with details provided by GGRAsia when they checked the booking engines of the relevant hotels.
Increase in bookings is good for GGR:
October Golden Week 2023 is a mid-fall festival celebrated according to the lunar calendar. This year, it starts on September 29 and lasts until October 6, including China’s National Day, which is celebrated on October 1. As of September 22nd, exactly 22 hotels linked with Macau casino facilities have received their standard rooms, aka rooms for 2 adults, booked for minimum 3 nights of the upcoming holiday. For the approaching festivities, the average price of standard rooms per night is MOP3,000, which is approximately US$373, up to more than MOP4,000, excluding service charges and taxes.
