Pragmatic Play releases fifth installment of John Hunter series with Mayan Gods

After taking players to Ancient Greece earlier in the month, leading multi product content provider Pragmatic Play has transported us to the jungles of Central America in its latest release, John Hunter and the Mayan Gods.

In the fifth addition to the provider’s highly-successful John Hunter series, our hero with the hat is once again in search of treasure but this new adventure finds him deep in the Mayan jungle.

In the game, low pays include J-A card values, with five of a kind earning 10x the bet, along with a goblet, dagger, and a ring. There is also a Quetzalcoatl (feathered serpent) symbol, a golden mask, which serves as the Wild symbol and can land on reels 2, 3, or 4, and the game’s main character, John Hunter. Wilds that land and form a winning combination, expand to encompass the entire reel.

Landing five like premium symbols is good for 20 to 50x the bet, while landing at least three Scatter symbols will activate the extra spins mode. The latter is progressive and upgrades in level when additional Wild symbols land. As levels are upgraded by players, symbols are upgraded to more lucrative ones, with the potential of triggering wins of up to 2,500 times the bet.
