In a move that further bolsters its footprint in Serbia‘s rapidly-expanding regulated online gambling market, Oryx Gaming has inked a deal with Gauselmann Group-owned MerkurXtip, making it the operator’s exclusive content aggregation partner.

The successful integration has seen the online casino and sports betting operator significantly enhance its virtual offering, gaining access to Oryx Hub and its more than 10,000 games from over 100 top-tier suppliers.

RGS partner content:

MerkurXtip will moreover have access to content from the Bragg Gaming Group (TSXV:BRAG) member’s premium RGS partners including German online games developer, Gamomat, as well as Golden Hero, Giveme Games, Arcadem, Peter & Sons, CandleBets, and Malta and Krakow based international games studio, Kalamba Games.

Oryx Hub is being utilized by the iGaming operator to roll out games from Oryx’s remote gaming server (RGS) partners alongside various third-party content via leading suppliers such as Microgaming, Blueprint, Greentube, Pragmatic Play and Evolution.

Multi-purpose utilization:

The Slovenian provider’s data platform will also be used by MerkurXtip for the purpose of analyzing product performance, as well as to perform targeted marketing campaigns, and to offer a variety of player engagement tools, such as leaderboards, free rounds, achievements, and tournaments, all of which have been shown to markedly increase player retention and values.

Growing market:

According to Oryx, Serbia’s regulated online gambling market has grown rapidly, with an increase in online GGR from €16m in 2016 to €96m in 2019 and a  compound average growth rate (CAGR) of 82 percent. Meanwhile, the Ljubljana-based company has enjoyed popularity with Serbian players on the back of partnerships with a number of operators, including Balkan Bet, Olimp, Meridian Bet, Maxbet, Top Bet, Admiral Bet and Mozzart Bet.
