Olympic takes NBA games to casinos

Major Baltic casino operator Olympic Entertainment Group has become the official betting partner of the US’ National Basketball Association for the region.

Betting brand OlyBet will take basketball games from the US into 100 casino and retail locations across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia. Olympic will also become the presenting partner of the NBA’s free-to-play gaming platform, NBA Pick ‘Em, which will be localised for the Baltics.

Said Scott Kaufman-Ross, senior vice-president, head of fantasy and gaming at NBA: “The timing is ideal, given the opportunity in which NBA games will be live in European prime-time every day as the season restarts. OlyBet will have the tools to create the most authentic NBA betting experience in the region.”

Olympic will now use NBA branding across all of its land-based and digital sports betting operation throughout the four countries and the two organisations will work on new practices to protect the integrity of NBA games.
