The Swedish government has appointed Claes Norgren as the new chairman of the board of the Spelinspektionen.

Claes has previously, among other things, been auditor general, head of the Financial Supervisory Authority and deputy governor of the Riksbank.

The government has also appointed Therese Mattsson, former director general of the Coast Guard, as a new member of the board. Both are appointed from April 1, 2024 through to March 31, 2026.
