New 888 CEO takes charge

888 has confirmed that new CEO Per Widerström has taken up his role.

Lord Mendelsohn, who had been acting as interim executive chair since January 30, has returned to the role of non-executive chair.

Lord Mendelsohn has also been appointed as a member of the Nominations Committee.

888 will release its Q3 trading update on Wednesday.
