In addition to partnering with BetMGM for the newly-regulated online market in West Virginia, NetEnt has also released its latest title, Rage of the Seas, a pirate-themed adventure filled with plenty of buccaneers and a treasure chest of exciting features.

The 5-reel, 4-row, medium volatility video slot is set on the back end of a wooden pirate ship adorned with skulls, hanging lanterns, and a pair of angry-looking fish on either side. Players will also find that when the features are in-play, the ship moves away from the screen giving them a better view of the vessel complete with pirate cannons.

Feature-packed:

With its expanding reels, Reels of the Seas can create up to 5488 betways and is feature-rich with Spreading Wilds and Stacked Wilds, as well as Minor and Major Reels Upgrades to ramp up winning potential.

A double Multiplier, Casino Extra Spins, and Extra Spins are also part of the base game, with the latter collected via Scatters or when all areas are opened up. The Extra Spin feature also comes with a double multiplier, which is the same one as in the base game. These features help create an action-packed experience for players that lasts throughout the session.

“Rage of the Seas is one of the most feature-loaded titles in our portfolio. We’ve taken the gameplay to the next level whilst maintaining a level of familiarity, so it is easy for players to follow instantly.

“The game’s classic theme and top-quality graphics create the perfect setting for the action to play out, making this a slot with enhanced engagement and retention potential.”

NetEnt gives a new look to the traditional pirate theme that matches the excitement of gameplay along with a 96.04 percent RTP, making for an experience that is well-suited for diverse demographics and preferences.

BetMGM deal:

The Stockholm-headquartered developer recently announced that it has partnered with GVC Group and MGM Resorts-backed iGaming group BetMGM in a deal that will see it launch its award-winning games in West Virginia, where on July 15, 2020, the doors were opened to online casinos.

NetEnt was awarded a temporary license from regulating authorities in the eastern U.S. state where BetMGM will soon launch the developer’s content. It will be the first time the developer’s internationally renowned content will be accessible in one of the key U.S. markets.

The strategic agreement follows a strong period of growth for the Swedish supplier in the US, after recently reporting triple-digit swells in quarterly gross gaming revenue in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

U.S. success:

NetEnt Vice President Commercial, Americas, Brian Kraft said…

“BetMGM’s rapid success in the US has been impressive and shows no signs of slowing down, making this a significant deal for our company as we continue to expand across the country.

Thanks to the strong performance of our games locally, the U.S. is now a major revenue driver for NetEnt and we look forward to working with BetMGM to accelerate growth of both our businesses.”
