Oryx Gaming now major content partner to Holland Casino for Netherlands newly regulated iGaming market

Bragg Gaming Group company, Oryx Gaming, has taken its content live in the Netherlands with Holland Casino for its new online interest, hollandcasino.nl.

Supplying the state-owned casino group’s digital casino was made possible by Oryx’s integration with the Playtech Marketplace platform, the Dutch operator’s strategic technology partner across its information management system (IMS) platform, sports betting, online casino, live casino, poker and bingo products.

This enables Holland Casino’s new online players to access Oryx-exclusive slots titles from games developers, Gamomat, Peter & Sons, and from Oryx’s own in-house studio. The provider will also provide its casino gaming aggregator product from leading suppliers to top-off the content offering.

Whether aggregated or exclusive, all games supplied by way of the Oryx Hub are able to be used alongside the provider’s trademarked state-of-the-art gamification and engagement toolset, Fuze, which include tournaments with realtime leaderboards, quests, free rounds, mystery jackpots, achievements, promo push notifications, opt-in tournaments and reccomendation engine.

Iconic brand:

Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer for Bragg Gaming used an official press release to comment on the content partnership, saying…

“Holland Casino is an iconic brand in the Netherlands. It’s been 45 years since their first casino launch almost to the day, so we wish them a happy birthday and congratulate them on now being among the first group of operators to be granted an online licence for games of chance by the regulator.”

The CEO goes on the explain that the Netherlands is an “important part” of their regulated market expansion strategy and they are “proud” to be a major content partner to Holland Casino, and “excited” to bring their games to “a brand new audience, while ensuring the highest standards of safer and responsible gambling.”

Holland Casino was one of 10 operators to be granted a license from the Netherlands Gaming Authority to to offer online games of chance from October 1st, 2021, day one of Dutch gambling’s newly regulated iGaming jurisdiction. However, the land-based operator was forced to postpone its online launch due to a “persistent technical malfunction” at the Central Register of Exclusion of Gaming (Cruks) but was able to go live with its online gambling offer,  on October 5, 2021.

In addition to a range of online betting and gaming products, the North Holland-based operator is responsible for 14 land-based venues located throughout the Netherlands, including in Enschede, Venlo, Breda, Amsterdam West, Utrecht, Leeuwarden, Amsterdam Center, Rotterdam, Scheveningen, Zandvoort, Groningen, Nijmegen, Valkenburg, and Eindhoven.
