The National Council on Problem Gambling has revealed US$176,000 in funding for five organisations in support of problem gambling prevention programs.


The Alabama Council on Impulsive Gambling Prevention, The Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado and the Maryland Council on Problem Gambling are all set to receive funding.

The LCADA Way will launch the Lorain County Problem Gambling Prevention Initiative with its funding, with the AdCare Educational Institute of Maine also included in the latest round of investment.

Keith Whyte, NCPG executive director, said: “Through Agility Grant funding, we aim to foster dynamic and responsive problem gambling prevention programs, helping to ensure that communities across the country are equipped to address this critical need with flexibility and innovation.

“Each recipient receiving support this round displayed exemplary commitment to cultural competence, tailoring their approaches with sensitivity to the diverse needs of the populations they serve.”

The Agility Grants are funded by a multi-million dollar, multi-year commitment to NCPG from the NFL via the NFL Foundation as part of the league’s responsible betting public awareness campaign, with Flutter Entertainment-owned operator FanDuel also providing support with the grants.
