The iconic Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas may have a curfew in face of violence.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, political and business leaders in the section of the city are considering increased security measures, notably at its Fremont Street Experience. It may even include an under-21 curfew. It follows a spate of violence in the past few weeks.

City mayor Carolyn Goodman has met with councillors, business leaders and the police to discuss clamping down on law enforcement to make the pedestrian mall safer for tourists.
