Manila casino to get expansion funds

Expansion projects totalling US$75m are planned by Alliance Global Group on its Resorts World Manila integrated resort this year.

According to Inside Asian Gaming, the Philippines group will carry out the work as part of a wider capital expenditure plan across its many business interests.

The funding will go to RWM parent Travellers International Hotel Group for projects in “leisure and entertainment.”

The investment is a direct result of RWM’s GGR rising this year as pandemic restrictions are ended and a reinvigorated VIP business.
