Korean gamblers limited on casino visits

Korea’s Kangwon Land casino, based in Gangwon Province, must limit players to 100 visits annually, says Fantini’s Gaming Report.

The newswire had picked up the news from the Yonhap News Agency, recording a decision made by South Korea’s Board of Audit and Inspection.

At present, gamblers can visit the venue 148 times a year, but that has restrictions on it – pinpointing how many days they can visit in consecutive months or quarters.

Now the regulator is cutting that back still more in a bid to ensure that gambling addiction does not become a problem.
