It was a case of quality exceeding quantity at the second gaming show to be held in Kiev, Ukraine, in only six months.

There was a noticeable decline in overall numbers, reports exhibitor Merkur Gaming this week. The company said that there was also a marked upsurge in high quality attendees.

Merkur was again a major exhibitor at the show, held at the International Exhibition Centre. The company showed a number of innovations, cabinets and solutions, including a multigame collection presented in the Ukrainian language.

Sakis Isaakidis, CEO international at Merkur, said: “This second running of the Gaming Industry Expo has been a success, not in terms of overall visitor numbers, but definitely in terms of our positive outlook regarding the future market developments.

“Our brand is well recognised and accepted in Ukraine and we are committed to a series of installations on the country’s gaming floors that will take place very shortly.”
