Innovative Technology shows off new technology

Innovative Technology has brought a number of cutting-edge products to showcase at ICE this year.

On the cash handling side of the business, it had its Smart Coin System, its latest all-in-one coin validator, mixed coin hopper and recycle. “That’s a new product, it is its first showing,” explained senior business development manager Andy Bullock. “At the moment, we’ve probably sold 40,000 units in the US, which is absolutely fantastic.

“This product didn’t exist until some customer came to us and said ‘we’d like it to do this.’

“Our guys went away and here’s the solution. We’ve provided it to the customer and they’re very happy.”

The company also has a number of biometric and age verification solutions for gaming operators.

Bullock presented the ICU lite, a product that can provide age estimation via its MyCheckr software. He said: “It can control casino entry and can also send alerts to members of staff, so you can do self-exclusion. It protects the player and your business.

He also sang the praises of ICE, saying the quality of attendee was high. “We take their information; we follow it up instantly and we build that relationship. Some are repeat customers, some are new, which is fantastic.

“This has been in the calendar for so many years and it does attract visitors from all over. There’s always change and new ideas so moving to Barcelona, we’ll be supporting that.”
