Immersive bingo experience to launch in London

Hijingo is unveiling an immersive and cinematic bingo experience in Shoreditch, London this summer.

The ‘80s Power Trip offers a 90-minute session including six rounds of bingo, plus prizes of up to £500 and a European holiday for two. A limited set of events is taking place from July 19 to August 25.

Hijingo’s operating system manages various aspects of the gaming experience by hosting a quantum number generator and communicating with hardware and AV systems.

The experience offers live entertainment, sonic effects and motion graphics. Players are guided through the experience with the help of the ‘80s Hijingobots characters, as well as other on-screen characters.

James Gordon, creative director and co-founder at Hijingo, said the company is looking to “redefine what bingo can truly be.”

He added: “Our state-of-the-art technology integrated into our software, coupled with an automated bingo system, controls all aspects of participants’ experiences and the game itself.”

Hijingo is hosted in an 8,000 sq.ft space which can accommodate up to 200 players and offers a ‘Neko Box’ area, two cocktail bars and a podium-like stage.
