The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, US, has donated over $48,000 to the Noah’s Animal House charity on behalf of a former owner of the hotel.

The fund-raising event to honour the late owner, who was a partner in Paragon Gaming, had been delayed from the summer when the area had problems with wildfires, but all donors still contributed as planned.

Diana Bennett, CEO of Paragon Gaming, and Yale Rowe, general manager of Hard Rock Lake Tahoe, presented the donation to Staci Alonso, founder of Noah’s Animal House. The charity protects pets of domestic violence victims.
